Church Fellowship and Youth Ride Baldwin Harbor Park

Due to circumstances beyond our control the church fellowship has been moved from the 22nd to the following sunday on the 29th.
On Sunday, July 29nd the Church will be joining together, weather permitting, for a church fellowship and youth bike ride. There will be a potluck for everyone to participate in, some games for all ages, bike riding along the 2 mile hike/bike path, and joyful memories for all. The reserved space is well shaded even at noon time with half a dozen picnic tables though you still may want to bring a more comfortable chair. Bathrooms are nearby.

Interfaith Council Youth Event is Coming

First Presbyterian Church Oceanside will be hosting the Interfaith Council’s youth event on June 24 from noon to 3.
There will be outdoor games (weather permitting), board games, pizza and fun for all.

Bike Rides have started for the summer

We had our first bike ride of the summer this last Sunday. The weather was a little cool and the while the trip down the boardwalk was eased by the wind it made the return trip much more difficult. The youth had a great deal of fun and we hope to have another ride on the 24th of June.

About

Worship Sundays at 10:30am

First Presbyterian Church is a small, intergenerational, and growing faith community. We welcome all. No matter where you are in your spiritual life, whether you are a long time church goer or have never stepped foot in a religious house of worship. There is a place for you here! You might be looking for a fresh start, a hug from a new friend, a cup of coffee and good conversation, or a place to ask questions. We are here to provide support and love on your journey. That is our calling, dear friends, since God loved us we ought to love one another. In community we seek to follow Jesus Christ’s example “not to be served but to serve.”

First Presbyterian is a member church of the Presbytery of Long Island and the Presbyterian Church USA.  Our church is also an active member of the Oceanside Interfaith Council which includes the Oceanside Methodist Church, Oceanside Lutheran Church, St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church,  St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Temple Avodah, and Oceanside Jewish Center.
